This is a Brazilian rosewood and Western red cedar classical guitar built along a more modern aesthetic. The asymmetrical peghead, mother of pearl rosette and curly maple binding provide an appearance that guitarists who are looking for a departure from the traditional have found very appealing. Inside, this guitar is an open harmonic bar design influenced by the guitar Julian Bream recorded with for many years, built by Jose Romanillos. It has remarkable presence and projection and excellent balance across its entire register.
The guitar is equipped with an L. R. Baggs Element Active transducer.

The price of this guitar is $13,000 or more, depending on wood selection

This guitar was designed in collaboration with Matthew Stewart, a fine guitarist at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. It is a modern classical guitar, with open harmonic bar bracing, a Swiss spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides. It departs from the traditional with an asymmetrical peghead, a cutaway, pearwood bindings and built in transducer and preamp. It also has a finely detailed mother of pearl vine rosette and a slightly arched fretboard, which steel string players have found facilitates barre chords.

It functions as a concert classical guitar and, amplified, as a jazz/classical guitar.

The cost for this guitar is $9,200
