This
guitar was designed in collaboration with Matthew Stewart,
a fine guitarist at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
It is a modern classical guitar, with open harmonic bar
bracing, a Swiss spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back
and sides. It departs from the traditional with an asymmetrical
peghead, a cutaway, pearwood bindings and built in transducer
and preamp. It also has a finely detailed mother of pearl
vine rosette and a slightly arched fretboard, which steel
string players have found facilitates barre chords.
It functions as a concert classical guitar and, amplified,
as a jazz/classical guitar.
The cost for this guitar is $9,200
